Conference location
The conference will take place on the East Bank campus of the UMN Twin Cities campus. Please see the Conference Program for more details.
Dormitory housing
A housing block has been reserved in Middlebrook Hall, a short walk from the conference venues. Rooms are available for the nights of Sunday, June 14th and Monday, June 15th for those selecting the dorm during their registration. Parking passes are available for those staying in the dorms. If you registered for a dorm, check-in begins at 1 pm on Sunday June 14th.
Hotels
The closest hotel to the conference venue is the Graduate by Hilton Minneapolis. Additional nearby hotels include Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis University Area, the Days Hotel by Wyndham University Ave SE, and the Home2 Suites by Hilton Minneapolis University Area.
Things to do
If you find yourself with free time, a few suggested things to do near campus are East River Flats Park (nice view of the river), Weisman Art Museum (free museum on campus), and Stone Arch Bridge (landmark ~30 min walk from campus). For food near campus, there’s Afro Deli, Kinzo Udon, Lu’s Sandwiches, and Kimchi Tofu House. For a drink, there’s Stub and Herbs and Sally’s Saloon, among many other options. Popular attractions a bit farther from campus include Mall of America, Minneapolis Institute of Art, and the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden.
